how you learned about and got involved in fair trade,
My first glimpse of *real* poverty was about 10 years ago when I first left the US and traveled in Eastern Europe. The opportunity to relieve poverty through paying producers a fair wage and treating them properly resonated with me. That's a bus I want to be on!
Favorite place you have traveled
L'viv, Ukraine - cobbled streets, dynamic national pride, centuries old architecture, and Puccini's Madame Butterfly performed in Ukrainian.
