- I have volunteered at Ten Thousand Villages for a couple of years, but have shopped at TTV since the late 1980's. I have worked as an artist ( glassblowing) an know how difficult it is to market products in this country, let alone from a third world country. It is important that the artisans earn a living wage for their work.
- Favorite place you have traveled
- I have traveled all over the world. I enjoyed visiting Kenya and China, and Vietnam and Cambodia. My most recent trip was to Bali, and I found the culture very intereting. I enjoy meeting artisans and seeing how their crafts are produced.

Fair Trade Certification
I recently returned from a trip to Bali. The guide that took us around Bali has been trying to market his village's beaded baskets. The money that the beaders earn is used to help the community, mostly in furthering the children's education.
