- I am an international studies major at the University of Oregon. I recently took a course that covered international environmental issues within development, and the things that I learned in that course sparked me to learn more. My mother just returned from a conference where Trade As One was promoted and she came home and told me all about it. Now I can not stop wanting to do more to support organizations such as this one
- Favorite place you have traveled
- Peru and the highlands of Fiji have been my favorite so far. This is because I was completely immersed into both of the cultures, by backpacking and living with the local families. Language barriers were tough at times, but it just taught me how human relations go so much further beyond spoken word.
- favorite music, books, movies...
- I loved the book Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I also love the movie Across The Universe ( naturally due to my love for The Beatles...) Also, I can never get enough of Hemingway
